The California’s Finest

Taste the Timeless Gold Medal Standard of California

By: Silva (Haoyuan) Chen

As we prepare for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles,

we can’t help but look back at one of the most iconic moments in LA, and California’s history—the 1984 LA Olympics.

That’s where we found our inspiration for the California’s Finest Campaign.

Our goal is to celebrate that timeless spirit with a vintage vibe,

reminding everyone of a time when California was shining on the world stage,

and gold medal performances were the talk of the world.

At In-N-Out, we’ve always believed that the mentality of pursuing excellence,

or more straightforwardly, the gold medal standard, should be at the heart of everything we do

—whether it’s serving a Double-Double, crispy fries, or a refreshing shake.

At In-N-Out, we always kept it simple: great food, great service, and a touch of California magic. Whether you’ve been with us since the last LA Olympics or are new to the In-N-Out family, the California experience is the same. From the first bite of a Double-Double to the last sip of a hand-scooped shake, we’ve always been about delivering that gold medal quality—and we’re not changing anytime soon. We want to remind everyone that the best part of California doesn’t just live in its sunshine or its beaches; it’s right there in our restaurants, where every meal is in the same Olympic standard.

In California’s Finest campaign, we’re blending the retro charm of the 80s with the timeless excellence of In-N-Out, celebrating the gold medal standard that has stayed with us since the start. Want to experience the vintage vibe for yourself? Check out our social media, where we’re bringing the 80s vibe back to life with a modern twist:

Better yet, swing by your nearest In-N-Out and taste California’s finest by yourself.

Whether it’s your favorite animal-style burger or a fresh batch of fries, we’re serving up the same gold medal quality you’ve come to love.

Some things, like quality, never go out of style—come and experience it firsthand!
